Having a walk by
horse at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean : step by step, but not at a gallop !
Horses in Florida? Yeah, there are few, but there are.
Certainly, it’s not the familiars « Franches-Montages » Switzerland race, but the
horses of the American aera. Enough to walk around. The Kelly Seahorse Ranch (North
of Jacksonville) www.kellyranchinc.net,
more precisely at « Amelia
Island State Park » at the top of Florida offers trips along the
Atlantic Ocean. « It's great to ride in the U.S. with people of all levels
and all countries », Rosalie Collot Jura jump champion in 2011 said. She
and Laura Keller (my daughter) have been fortunate to along the coast like a
Lucky-Luke style. But no question of going at a gallop ! « Too risky
because of the tourists on the beach », the guide told us. The boss, Jim
kelly, the very real cowboy fun after all, still the soul of a true merchant.
Cost of the trip an hour: 80 dollars, although subsequently cancells the prior
order on site. Orders are made only by phone, so no e-mails ! Banning on taking
pictures of the square-sand or on the beach. « It's the law », as it was
said to us ! Ah, ah, that's a good excuse. We understand that $ 90 image, the
case is rather juicy-money for the organizers. I did not know what American Equestrian
world there was as rigorous as NASA. In fact, if I were an American, I would
have to do action shots ? $ 80 just to watch the departure of my two riders
from the dock of the ranch, it’s a bit expensive paid, not really ?
