Twist et embrassade avec l’ISS

[ Cape Canaveral, May 26th, 2012, © (rke), english below ] – Juste avant son accostage à 12h02  ce vendredi 25 mai (18h02, heure suisse), Dragon a twisté devant la Station spatiale internationale    (ISS). C’est le bras robotique canadien Canadarm2 qui s’est occupé de serrer sa danseuse (la capsule) en l’empoignant par les hanches. Puis il a enfin accroché à la station, ce qui a permis ce samedi matin à 5h53 (11h53 CH) aux astronautes d’ouvrir le SAS pour y faire une inspection.

Un beau cadeau pour le KSC qui s’apprête à fêter son cinquantenaire, alors que la presse du coin (Le Florida Today de ce jour) titre : « SpaceX chérie de la NASA après le parcage de Dragon à l’ISS ». Un bec, smac !

Twist and kissing with the ISS

Just before docking at 12:02 a.m. this Friday, May 25 (6:02 p.m. Swiss time), Dragon has twisted to the International Space Station (ISS). The Canadian robotic arm « Canadarm2 has handled shook its partner (the capsule) by grabbing it by the hips. Then the arm has finally hung up at the station. And this Saturday morning at 5:53 (11:53 CH) astronauts were able to open the airlock to conduct an inspection into (!) Dragon.

A lovely gift for the KSC who is about to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary,while the local press (The Florida Today that day) says : « SpaceX, NASA cheer after Dragon capsule parks at ISS ». A kiss, smac !
