Mouais.

Gasoline prices in the USA : more half less, compare to Swiss practice
The Swiss people can still benefit of gasoline a long time because in Switerland the prices are more less than USA. More half ! An example : to consider the cost of 3,47 dollars the gallon (1 gallon = 3,786 liter), that is 0,91 dollar for 1 liter and so in Swiss francs (with the current course) 0,76 centimes by liter. We are very far from our 1,8 francs the liter payd in Switzerland. But for Americain people, it’s truly many, many. It’s true, in thirty years ago, I remember to have paid 40 centimes by liter to the maximum. However, it still should be counted that the rented cars, in general very recent, consume less and less, even with the country of the Uncle Sam. Moreover, I have just made full who cost me 48,5 dollars (40,2 Swiss francs) and I rolled 580 miles (735 km). We are largely gaining on the road. More especially as the price varies depending on the States and the gasoline is often less expensive (contrary to our country), near the motorway than on the main roads US. Swiss people pay more half of taxes for the Confederation States. Oh yes, yes, our swiss-roads should well be maintained. Mhhh, yes, but...
