One million of spectators could be on hand to watch Atlantis launch
The Cape Canaveral area is buzzing. She is preparing for an historic event : the latest space shuttle launch Atlantis this July 8. In other words immediately that it took to do it well in advance to attend the launch. "We have already completed our bookings for a month to July 7, the eve of launch," says Parton of the Ramada in Titusville, a small village of 45,000 people in front (12 miles as the crow flies ) from the launch pad. More than one million people are expected this effect July 8 along the coast to attend the show, as indicated by our confrere in USA Today today. Around us, it's not euphoria, but almost. While the TV evokes the past of spaceflight, news interviews onlookers to see what they think of the event. Never before have I had at least seen such enthusiasm before takeoff. Meanwhile, we are preparing to that take off. What an adventure administrative ! (following)
