En partenariat avec la base militaire Patrick AFB (pas loin
de là) et dans le cadre de son programme environnemental (qui date déjà de
1991), le centre spatial recycle donc régulièrement ses restes. Chaque année,
ce sont 371 tonnes de papier, 49,2 tonnes de cartons et 1'230 tonnes de métal
(chiffres de 2007). Destin de réservoirs…

In this Sunday , a gray hat
moved on the Space Center and I finally found my ET. My External Tank
(read
here), of course. With them Solid Rocket Boosters (SRB), the
bulk metal elephant lies in a remote corner prohibited
and barricaded. A sort of dump large rockets. More precisely
the Reutilization Marketing & Recycling Facility (RMRF)
of KSC, which as the name suggests is the
place recycling equipment, too.In partnership with the Air Force Patrick AFB (not far away of KSC Visitor Center) and as partof its environmental agenda (which dates from 1991), the space center recycles regularly so its remains.
