[ Cape Canaveral, May 25th, 2012, © (rke), english below ] – Un employé du KSC se demandait l’autre jour, peu avant le lancement de Dragon, qu’est-ce qui pouvait bien nous intéresser à venir voir décoller une si « banale » fusée ? « Cela n’a rien d’extraordinaire »,  a-t-il affirmé. Oui, c’est vrai. Techniquement, ce n’est pas si révolutionnaire. Faire accoster un engin sur la station spatiale ISS, les Européens l’ont déjà fait avec l’ESA (ATV). La nouveauté, c’est que ce sont les privés qui s’y mettent aussi. Autrement dit, SpaceX devient la première organisation financée par elle-même à réussir ce coup. Et il faut le faire. Toute entreprise ne s’improvise pas transporteur spatial. C’est pourquoi on peut considérer la prouesse technique de SpaceX comme historique. C’est comme l’aventure de l’aéropostale dans les années vingt. Sans ces héros-là des airs, nous ne volerions pas dans les cieux comme nous le faisons aujourd’hui.

Les Américains commencent enfin à se rendre compte de leur dépendance à la Russie pour envoyer des humains sur orbite avec les fusées Soyouz. 

L'événement ne passe pas inaperçu ici

L’événement SpaceX ne passe pas inaperçu en Floride. L’Américain moyen commence à prendre conscience de l’importance du leadership US, qu’ils aimeraient bien retrouver.

Par ce coup de maître astronautique, SpaceX ouvre donc concrètement la voie au tourisme spatial. Bientôt, il suffira d’avoir un porte-monnaie bien garni pour se rendre là-haut. Bon, je m’y mets, je vais jouer à la loterie.

HISTORY : private ownership finally the space

Recently, just before the launch of Dragon, an employee at KSC was wondering what we could well see interest coming off such a « trite » rocket.  « There is nothing wonderful », he said. Yes, it's true. Technically, that’s not so revolutionary. A spacecraft to dock on the ISS, the Europeans have done with ESA (ATV). The novelty is that it’s a private compagny go at it, too. In other words, SpaceX became the first organization funded by itself succeed this challenge. And it must be done. Any business can not be improvised space transporter. Any compagny can not be improvised shuttle transporter.Therefore we can consider taht technical prowess of SpaceX as historic.It's like the adventure of airmail in the twenties. Without these heroes then the air, we would not steal in heaven as we do today.

SpaceX actually opens up the way to space tourism

Americans are finally starting to realize their dependence on Russia for sending humans into orbit with Soyuz rockets. The SpaceX event  is not going unseen in Florida. The average American is beginning to realize the importance of U.S. leadership, they would like to find.

By this master gamble, SpaceX actually opens up the way to space tourism. Soon, it will enough to have a well stocked-wallet to get up above our heads. Well, I'll start, I'll play the lottery.
